Leah Bracknell swaps Emmerdale for Aidan's Royal Free

Former Emmerdale star Leah Bracknell (Zoe Tate) has swapped the farmyard for the wards of St Aidan’s Royal Free Hospital. She plays glamorous Matron Jenny Carrington in ITV1's new daily soap The Royal Today. But Leah reveals her real experience of hospitals is less than appealing: "20 years ago I worked as a nurse's assistant on a geriatrics ward which was basically wiping people’s bottoms and taking them to the toilet, making beds and feeding people."
